Michigan TOGA!

TOGA (Treadle On Gathering & Academy)

Another TOGA!  I've wanted to attend the Michigan TOGA for a few years now, and this year, I finally got to attend.  Another weekend of vintage sewing machine overload.

On Sunday morning, those that were still in town met back at Sharon's for breakfast.

I'll save my 'goodies' I got on this trip for another post, since there are already so many pictures in this post.

AND, I was a good girl at BOTH TOGA's.  I didn't bring home a machine from either TOGA, but I did get the tension fixed on 2 of my machines.  Thanks ladies for all the help!

  1. Wow! just, wow. Another person with even more sewing machines than me! Guess I had better get a move on. A working child's treadle and a chainstitching treadle are high on my most-wanted list. So glad you got to go!

  2. Oh my, are you sure you got a photo of every machine? The thimble rack reminds me of the printers boxes my owls are roosting in.

  4. wow what a collection. So the show was in this woman's house? I'm not familiar with TOGA so have no idea. Looks like a wonderful time and you met some nice quilters/collectors that have the same machine loves as you do!

  5. Oh what a fun place! i hoppedd over from Terri's blog--I just bought a Singer 301A and am re-discovering how different a straight stich only machine can be. Looks like a fun group of gals..hugs, Julierose
