I'm joining
Julie K's Binding Blitz linky party today. I finished one binding in March on the Rectangle Island quilt.

I don't have any photo's of the finished quilt yet, but, as the weather gets better, I'm hoping to get some. Here is a photo of the last corner of the binding, and the label.

This quilt is finished, and will be heading to it's new owner soon. It's a graduation quilt for our niece. She graduated high school this year.
I'm also working on the binding for my youngest son's wedding quilt. I've made the binding, but, I haven't had a chance to sew it onto the quilt, yet. I've also made a label for the quilt. Hopefully, I'll be able to start stitching the binding on this weekend.

I won't be getting much sewing done in the next few days, since we have guests tonight, and again on Saturday. Saturday is my oldest son's birthday. He will be 25 years old! Happy Birthday Christopher!
Funny how our kids get older and we stay so young. My grands are now starting into their 20s and I'm still only 18... how does that work? LOL
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your finishes. Love that jazzy binding.
Hugs
Happy Binding! Enjoy the day with your son, so glad you can celebrate his birthday together.
ReplyDeleteI have a Christopher too, they are the best aren't they? I like seeing your binding all rolled up. I do the same with mine, I just can't throw those empty spools away and keep the extra binding on them
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Christopher!
ReplyDeleteI love that binding for the wedding quilt, it's wild.
That is going to be one snazzy binding. Can't wait to see it on the quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt turned out great! I love the colors.
