Quilt of Valor

I finally got to present my neighbor with his Quilt of Valor.  This is the quilt that I made for him.

Here is Steve with his new Quilt of Valor.  He was really surprised.

Steve, wrapped in his new quilt

Sorry if I haven't commented on anyone else's blog posts lately.  Hubby has been trying to get my new computer set up, and I've been using 2 computers, so that I could load pictures.  Everything is finally working like it should, and we finally moved the new computer in place (it had been in the middle of the family room for at least a month).  I'm more than 200 blog posts behind on my blog reading.  I'll try to get caught up quickly, but, with last minute projects still due, and my youngest son and his fiance coming in less than 3 weeks, there just isn't enough time in the day to get everything done.  I know that most of you may be just as behind as I am.

  2. Beautiful! So happy that you got to present the quilt. It must be that time of year - I feel way behind, too! So, I've decided to just enjoy each day and get done what gets done! (Sure hope my philosophy works! LOL) ~Jeanne

  3. Another generous and thoughtful quilt of valor. Congratulations to you both. Oh Boy...a new computer. Glad to hear from you. I have been remiss in posting and commenting, too. I'll plead time of the year, going back to work and enjoying a season of sewing, sewing, sewing. I'm making bags, bags, bags and more bags. Good luck with all your gift sewing for the holidays. Stop by the store if you are in SA.

  6. Your quilt is really beautiful, I like the scrappy stars. I think most of us are behind without the computer excuse, it's that time of year.
