Traveling Stash Giveaway!

I won one of the Traveling Stash boxes from Terri over at QuiltNCards.  Thanks for drawing my name out of the hat (literally).  It has been crazy busy here, so, I took longer than I should have to pick out what I wanted to keep and figuring out what I wanted to put into the box.

Here is what I am keeping.
What I took out
I only took out a fat quarter in purple.  I will be taking a paper piecing class next week, and the purple will work nicely for some paper piecing I want to do later.  I also took 7 books and magazines out.

I am adding more than I took out (if I can stuff all of it back into the box).  This is what I am adding.
8 books and patterns

4 patterns

1.25 yd & 2 FQ's of fabric and a pin cushion
Here is some of the other things in the box.
lots of fabrics

several books, magazines and patterns

patterns and stabelizers

So, here are the rules for winning this Traveling Stash box.

1. You must be a blogger so you can "pass it on" to another blogger and keep us posted about where it's going.

2. You must be willing to ship it on to the next person.

3. You may take anything you like, but for every item you remove, you must replace it with another item.  Items do not need to be new, but if they are not new, they must be gently used.

4. You may fill the box with:  orphan blocks, books, patterns, notions, rulers, and definitely fabric.

5. There is a note in the box that logs where the box has been.  Please add your info and place the note back in the box.

Sorry, but because of shipping costs the box cannot be shipped internationally.

If you want to win this box, leave me a comment below.  For a second chance, you can blog about it and let me know.  You can't be a 'no reply' commenter.  If I can't reach you, then you can't blog about this and follow the rules above.
I will pick a winner on Monday, April 16th, after 10pm central time (sorry, I can't miss DWTS or Castle): )

  1. Of course I want a chance to win this box!! This sounds like so much fun!! And I love DWTS and Castle!!! So I can definitely wait!!! LOL

  2. Oh no...I WANT it! Great looking contents...what fun to follow this around the country......

  3. Thanks for the chance at this stash! Have a wonderful week! :)

  4. LOL! I can't miss Dancing or Castle either!! I'd love to get my mitts on this traveling stash and see all the goodies! Of course I have lots of stuff to add back in also. :D

Thanks for a chance at it.

  5. Oh I would LOVE to win the stash box. I sent mine away, I had to sit on it to get it to close. I guess I should have left a little room for others to add to it. I already know what I will take out and what I will add to it as well.

  6. Wow -- there's lots of booty in this box! Please do count me in for this one!!! Thank you! :)

  7. OH, I would love a chance to host the box! Thanks for the opportunity!

  8. Okay, I'm in. I've been resisting for a while but, give me a chance on this, now. Thanks.

  9. Oh, me, me, me! I love that Tammy Tadd pattern, and my wrist pincushion (just like the one in the picture) just broke -- it was old, old, old, and it just came undone. I guess I could glue it, but a new one would be better :-)

  10. Hi Cheryl,
I'm not interested in the box coming to me - already had it, but I'd like to know... what is DWTS? I have seen Castle, but not the other.
Hope you enjoy your books and mags.

  11. OOh, what fun--I would love to play with the box, adding and subtracting goodies.
    Cheryl Warren
HUGE Castle fan. mmm, Nathan Fillion... (sigh.....too bad I am old enough to be his mamma)

  12. This sounds like fun! I would love to win the chance to play with this box of goodies!

  13. I would love to have the box. I need a few good books and have some nice fabric to add in.

  14. Lots of wonderful goodies in this Stash. I love "trading" goodies with other quilters. Have a super weekend!
