I went to the Missouri TOGA (Treadle On Gathering & Academy) this past weekend. This is our 8th year. This is a three day event, so I'll break it into days to post (lots of photos).
The first day was Thursday. We set up, then there is a class all afternoon on Thursdays. Ruth taught EPP (English Paper Piecing). Boy oh boy, did Ruth go above and beyond!
Ruth has done LOTS of EPP quilts. Here are just a few that I took photos of.
Ruth did a wonderful job teaching EPP. Ruth made up kits for the class members. The kits had magnets & clips to hold the Hexagon's, and she also included her favorite needles, pins, etc. Ruth made everyone their own kits that included needle books and a thread catcher. Here is mine.
Here are Barb's EPP pieces (just started, not finished)
Here is the class working on their EPP flowers.

ReplyDeleteWow! Ruth's class looks amazing. What a great first day.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing very special that Ruth supplied everyone with their own kit.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous EPP projects! I love the one with two different fabrics per hexagon - the flag and the blue. Wow!
