Well I finally finished my RSC19 blocks for May and June. There has just been too much going on to get these finished until this week. Hey, at least they are done before July.

I didn't bring a sewing machine to the Missouri TOGA last weekend, so I didn't get my blocks made for next years raffle quilt. I did get my fabric cut out at the TOGA. These are Double Bowtie blocks.

I also finished another Vintage Miniature Sewing Machine block.

I'm already well along on block #9. There are 12 blocks total for this quilt. I'll have to be thinking of the next small hand project to be working on when these are done.
I'm looking forward to seeing how your RSC blocks will go together. That vintage sewing machine block is absolutely incredible!! Beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteThe RSC blocks look fun. (Soooo close to getting lots of time to sew here. Gotta hang on till next week!)
ReplyDeleteLove your RSC19 blocks for May and June AND those vintage miniatures. I'm not sure I've ever seen a double bowtie block. I may have to make a few of those. ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like your next hand projects will be bindings!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same boat. I'm still working with orange scraps too. I'm mixing it with the blues blocks as well. Keep on sewing! Summer will be gone before we know it.
ReplyDeleteYou're making great progress on your sewing machine blocks! I am making modified RSC blocks this month. I need some scrappy purple and pink blocks, so I'm doing those instead of blue. Still using up scraps.
ReplyDeleteI love your RSC blocks. The vintage machine embroidery is lovely.
