10 Years ago I started blogging, thanks to Michelle at Life with Lou. Here is the first quilt I ever posted. Since then I've posted 612 times. I think we should celebrate with a Giveaway!

Ok, so here are the rules:
First, you have to be in the USA (mailing internationally during the pandemic is difficult at best).
Second, you need to be a follower of my blog. Just let me know how you follow my blog.
Third, you MUST include your email address. Any no-reply commentors will not qualify (and no, I won't be chasing you down to find your email address). If I don't reply to your blog comment within 48 hours, then you didn't include your email address.
Ok, so tell me something that you are celebrating this year (NOT Covid related).
I'll draw the winner's name on Monday, January 25th. That will give everyone plenty of time to get caught up on their blog reading (I'm usually several days behind).
This year I will be celebrating Mom's 85th birthday.I am so happy that she is still doing well.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 10 years of blogging, that’s quite an accomplishment! I’m a New York quilter that follows your blog through Bloglovin. My email is tpott@opt online.net. In 2020 I celebrated 15 cancer free. Back then I prayed to see my then 6 yr. old son graduate high school and next year he will graduate college. I can’t think of anything I’ve wanted more. Reading blogs has made the ups and downs easier to deal with, every day I can look forward to escaping into the quilting world. Reading blogs has been more helpful than anything else I’ve tried. Thank you for all you do, you don’t realize how much of what you do helps others.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful first quilt posted! I follow by reading your blog posts in my email (my favorite way to follow bloggers). Celebrations are small and frequent here. Today, we cheered on the amaryllis plant that was a gift from DH's Gideon friend. It is about to bloom. Every morning I am amazed at how much it grows in 24 hours and remember each day is a gift to celebrate with joy and thanksgiving and by sharing beauty in a world that has suffered much in recent months. Thanks for sharing with us your wonderful quilts, interest in vintage machines, and snippets from your life.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your fabulous achievement from California! I follow your blog by email. This year my husband and I are celebrating our 15th anniversary. soparkaveataoldotcom
